Configuration Management One day program covers various aspects of software configuration management. The hands on session will be done using CVS, or any other tool being used by the organization. Objective is to develop the ability to ask WHY some thing has happened so as to come up with appropriate CAPA. Software Quality Assurance SQA Two day program focusing on the QA aspects of software development. This brings out the difference between QA and QC. The focusing is on identifying the process objectives and linking them to the current process performance. Audit Effectiveness Two day training program addressing one of the current issues across the industry. How to improve the effectiveness of the internal quality audits? The focus is on understanding why we need various processes and how to validate these processes in light of the performance and metrics. Hands on will include live audit and spot feed back for sampled projects. Software Estimation One day program covering the estimation process. This gives an overview of various estimation methodologies. This also involves hands on where the teams are involved in estimating the given requirements and also understanding and voicing the assumptions being made during the process. Review Effectiveness One day program focusing on improving the review effectiveness. This addresses the finer aspects of understanding the rationale behind various process inputs along with the ETVX model and focusing on all these elements so as to improve the output. Hands on will involve real case studies from various processes. Profitability of Process Objectives One day program which focuses on linking the various process objectives to bottom line. This brings in the business perspective to the process implementation. Hands on will involve participants in defining and presenting the processes and their bottom line contribution. Critical Chain Project Management One day program focuses on understanding the TOC concepts and implementing them in software project management. The hands on involves the participants to come up with a critical chain project planning using buffer management. Product Life Cycle Management One day program covers various aspects of product development and management. The objective is to highlight the essential differences between a product and a project and how the processes will differ for each of these activities. Effective Communication One day training program which covers the finer aspects of communication. This addresses the human elements of the communication and how to keep them and use them for achieving the objectives. Effective Training One day training program for training the trainers; who are involved in both technical and soft skills training. The program covers various aspects of effective training; the PDCA of training. This also provides some tools and techniques for the trainers. |
